About the Role
We are looking for a Lab Technician Quality Control – Microbiology to join the Quality Control team in Boxmeer. In this role, you will be responsible for performing and documenting microbiological quality control testing on products and materials. You will work according to established GMP procedures and contribute to keeping laboratory processes reliable, compliant and continuously improving. This is a hands-on laboratory position for someone who enjoys working accurately, solving problems and working as part of a professional team.
Responsibilities
- Perform, document and review microbiological QC tests according to established procedures
- Work with microbiological techniques such as sterility testing, bioburden and environmental monitoring
- Apply aseptic working techniques where required
- Enter, analyse and trend laboratory data
- Identify and report deviations, OOS results and unusual trends
- Support investigations and help identify potential causes of problems
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects, including the use of Lean/Six Sigma principles
- Help create, update and improve work instructions and SOPs
- Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with GMP, GGO and safety requirements
- Work closely with colleagues across the Quality Control organisation
Qualifications
- Completed MBO Level 4 / MLO education in Microbiology or a comparable laboratory qualification
- Relevant practical experience in a microbiology laboratory
- Experience working within a quality management system, preferably in a GMP environment
- Knowledge or experience with microbiological testing techniques

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Able to communicate effectively in both Dutch and English, verbally and in writing
- Comfortable working in an environment where procedures, documentation and compliance are important
- Affinity with continuous improvement and Lean/Six Sigma
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues and think in solutions
