About the Company
Our client is a global biopharmaceutical organization with a large manufacturing and supply chain operation in Breda. The site supports the production, packaging, storage and distribution of medicines to markets across Europe, Turkey, the Middle East and Africa, operating in a complex and highly regulated environment.
Role Description
As a Supply Chain – Detailed Scheduler, you will be responsible for managing short-term production planning for packaging lines and ensuring a stable and reliable supply of medicines. You will develop production plans, coordinate activities across departments and remove operational flow stoppers to support timely delivery. Working closely with manufacturing, quality, warehouse and supply chain teams, you will also contribute to continuous improvement, standardization and process automation within the supply planning organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage short-term production planning for packaging lines.
- Create production plans, manage orders and support product launches and phase-in/phase-out activities.
- Monitor supply chain performance and proactively remove flow stoppers.
- Measure weekly and monthly KPIs, including MPS stability, and drive improvement actions.
- Facilitate daily operational meetings and coordinate actions across departments.
- Lead weekly capacity meetings with manufacturing, quality, warehouse and supply chain stakeholders.
- Drive standardization, simplification and automation of planning processes.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analyses.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure realistic and achievable supply plans.
- Ensure stable operations and supply chain efficiency while working within GMP and GDP guidelines.
Requirements
- Experience in supply chain planning within a GMP-regulated environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong interest in standardization, process improvement and automation.
- Experience or interest in tools such as Tableau, Smartsheet, Databricks or RPA is preferred.
- Detail-oriented and able to coordinate multiple priorities.
- Willingness to work at least 3 days per week on-site in Breda.
