Role description
As an Automated Line Operator, you will play an important role in keeping automated production and packaging operations running safely and efficiently. You will operate and monitor equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, maintain GMP standards, and support improvements across the production process. You will work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams to maintain smooth operations and quickly respond to production challenges.
 

Responsibilities
Operate and monitor automated production and packaging equipment
Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and shutdown activities
Monitor machine performance and production output
Troubleshoot technical and process-related issues
Adjust machine settings and parameters to maintain optimal performance
Record production activities and data in SAP and MES
Complete accurate GMP documentation and production records
Identify and escalate deviations or abnormalities when required
Support root cause analysis and structured problem-solving activities
Work with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to resolve issues
Identify opportunities to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance
Support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
Perform scheduled cleaning activities and ensure effective shift handovers
Maintain a safe, clean, and GMP-compliant working environment
 

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or production
- Experience operating automated production or packaging equipment
- Background in pharmaceutical, food, assembly, packaging, or similar industries
- Fluent English communication skills
- Experience working with GMP documentation and procedures
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with SAP and MES systems
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Willingness to work a rotating 3-shift or 5-shift schedule
