About the Role:
This role focuses on supporting commercial business performance across the North-West Europe region through financial analysis, strategic planning, and business partnering. The Commercial Controller will work closely with senior leadership and commercial teams to provide insights that improve profitability, pricing strategies, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior commercial leadership to support strategic decision-making, pricing strategies, and business growth initiatives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing, and financial planning activities to ensure accurate financial reporting and transparency.
- Monitor KPIs, analyze financial performance trends, and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Strengthen financial control processes, ensure compliance with internal controls, and support continuous process improvements across the business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix organization to align financial goals with commercial and operational objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in finance, commercial controlling, and business partnering within complex international organizations.
- Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, KPI management, and strategic commercial decision support.
- Hands-on experience with SAP, Power BI, and advanced Excel skills, with the ability to translate data into business insights.
- Fluency in both Dutch and English along with excellent stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and a disciplined, structured working style.
