Our client is a global healthcare organization supplying life-changing products to patients across more than 75 countries. You will join an international Supply Chain team responsible for ensuring reliable product supply while balancing capacity, inventory, cost, and business needs.

Role Description
As a Senior Product Planner, you will own the strategic and tactical supply planning for products and production lines. You will manage planning horizons from approximately 4–24 months, balancing supply, capacity, inventory, shelf life, and constraints while supporting product launches, phase-outs, and changing business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own strategic and tactical supply planning for assigned products and production lines.
  • Manage supply plans across 4–24 month planning horizons in Rapid Response.
  • Perform rough-cut capacity planning and optimise production capacity.
  • Proactively manage inventory positions against strategic targets.
  • Balance product availability, inventory, shelf life, cost, and scrap exposure.
  • Identify supply constraints, risks, and deviations and develop corrective actions.
  • Create scenario analyses to support complex supply chain decisions.
  • Collaborate with supply sites, resource owners, procurement, and global Supply Chain teams.
  • Contribute to planning meetings and provide input on strategic decisions.
  • Support product launches, phase-outs, and other lifecycle changes.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or similar.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant Supply Chain Planning experience.
  • Strong end-to-end Supply Chain Planning experience.
  • Proven experience with strategic and tactical planning.
  • Strong experience with product planning and production-line planning.
  • Experience with rough-cut capacity planning and inventory optimisation.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Experience with supply constraints, scenario planning, and supply plan deviations.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience in pharma, medtech, food, beverages, ingredients, or another regulated environment is preferred.
  • SAP and Rapid Response experience is a plus.
  • Strong ownership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
