Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Mortgage Process Coordinator to join the Mid-Office department. This role is crucial in managing and improving the mortgage application process, ensuring smooth operations, and supporting the development of team processes. The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and have a passion for refining procedures and training.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of training programs for team members.
- Create, analyze, and report on dashboards and performance metrics.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, managing leave, and monitoring hours.
- Coordinate security incidents, analyze complex requests, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Conduct job interviews and oversee onboarding, guidance, and training on working protocols.
- Participate in projects and working groups to enhance departmental efficiency.
- Analyze and optimize processes, actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage specific focus areas such as telephony coaching, quality control, internal audits, complaint handling, and risk management.
Requirements
- HBO (higher professional education) degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a coordination or team leadership role, preferably within financial services.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Senior Underwriter, with system knowledge of Hypocasso and Accelo.
- Strong analytical skills, numeracy, and proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent communication and advisory skills.
- Customer-oriented approach with a flexible attitude.
- Mortgage market knowledge and relevant diplomas (WFT Basic and Mortgage Credit) or willingness to obtain them within the first year.
- Experience with mortgage processing in a Mid-Office context is preferred.
- Ability to work within a one-hour radius of the office; hybrid working option available.
