Role Description
We are looking for an experienced QC Laboratory Technician – Microbiology to join a dynamic QC team. You will perform and document chemical, biological, and microbiological testing in accordance with GMP standards, ensuring accurate results and high laboratory quality while contributing to continuous improvement and process optimisation.

Responsibilities
- Perform, document, and review QC tests according to established procedures and standards.
- Identify and report OOS results, deviations, and trends in line with GMP procedures.
- Perform microbiological testing, including sterility testing, bioburden, environmental monitoring, and aseptic techniques.
- Enter test results and perform data analysis and trending.
- Participate in and potentially lead continuous improvement projects using Lean/Six Sigma tools.
- Review, update, and prepare Work Instructions (WIs) and SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and quality requirements.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement, problem-solving, and operational excellence.


Requirements
- Completed MBO/MLO Level 4 qualification in Microbiology or a related laboratory discipline.
- Previous experience working in a quality-controlled laboratory environment, preferably within GMP.
- Practical experience with microbiological testing techniques.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Accurate, quality-focused, and proactive approach to work.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Experience or affinity with Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement.
