Role description
This position is responsible for leading complex technology and digital manufacturing projects that support manufacturing expansion, modernization, and operational readiness. The role manages technology solutions throughout the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through implementation, qualification, deployment, and operational handover. Working within a matrix environment, the successful candidate will coordinate multiple cross functional teams and external partners to ensure successful delivery of business and technology objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex technology and digital manufacturing projects from initiation through implementation, qualification, deployment, and operational handover.
- Define project scope, timelines, budgets, governance, resources, and execution strategies while managing risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
- Drive the deployment and integration of manufacturing technologies, automation systems, digital solutions, data platforms, and supporting infrastructure.
- Coordinate requirements gathering, design reviews, testing, validation, qualification, release activities, and issue resolution across multiple functions.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Automation, Manufacturing Systems, IT/OT teams, vendors, and system integrators to ensure project success.
- Facilitate governance meetings, workshops, and decision making sessions, providing clear status updates, recommendations, risk assessments, and escalation plans.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives, technical solutions, site standards, enterprise architecture, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain project controls and ensure compliance with GMP, cybersecurity, quality, validation, and data integrity standards.
- Develop operational readiness, implementation, training, documentation, support, and handover plans to ensure sustainable business operations after go live.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Manufacturing Systems, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience in manufacturing technology, automation, digital solutions, IT and OT, or capital projects
- Experience managing projects through design, implementation, qualification, validation, and operational handover
- Strong understanding of regulated manufacturing environments
- Excellent stakeholder management, planning, communication, risk management, and problem solving skills
- Proven experience leading cross functional and matrix teams
- Professional fluency in English
