Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced MRP Planner to join a fast-paced manufacturing site. In this role, you will be responsible for operational planning related to ingredients, packaging, and chemicals, ensuring smooth production processes. You will support ongoing projects and help manage the transition during a period of significant change within the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Manage short- and medium-term operational planning for ingredients, packaging, and chemicals using MRP systems.
• Continuously optimise production schedules by balancing demand, stock levels, supplier conditions, and operational developments.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and resolve any bottlenecks that could impact production.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments and suppliers to ensure production goals are met efficiently.
• Support and participate in various projects, including new product launches, process improvements, and IT upgrades.
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements and develop better working procedures.
• Act as a key contact point for suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience in planning, preferably in a supply chain or logistics role within the FMCG or food industry.
• Strong knowledge of production and logistics operations.
• Experience with planning systems such as SAP ECC, SAP APO, or OMP is highly desirable.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-changing environment.
• Good stakeholder management skills, especially in collaboration with external suppliers.
• Fluent in Dutch, with good command of English.
Other Information:
This is a 6-month temporary position starting as soon as possible, supporting key ongoing projects such as IT implementations, production line upgrades, and supplier changes. The role involves working on-site most of the time, with a maximum of two days working from home. The ideal candidate will be a motivated problem-solver with a hands-on attitude, who can work independently and as part of a team.
