Job Description
For our client in Dordrecht, we are looking for a Senior Maintenance & Reliability Team Lead (Asset Care). In this role, the Senior Maintenance & Reliability Team Lead (Asset Care) drives the site’s asset care and maintenance excellence agenda, improving equipment reliability and performance while leading a multidisciplinary engineering team. The position works closely with stakeholders across the plant to ensure corrective maintenance escalations are handled effectively and long-term reliability improvements are delivered.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of maintenance and reliability professionals, including engineering and turnaround coordination.
- Design, implement, monitor, and continuously improve the Asset Care / Maintenance Excellence programme aligned to site targets (e.g., OEE, efficiency, and process safety objectives).
- Manage and prioritise daily escalations related to corrective maintenance to reduce downtime and operational risk.
- Track, analyse, and report performance through relevant KPIs; communicate progress, risks, and priorities to key stakeholders.
- Drive root-cause problem solving and structured improvement using recognised reliability methodologies.
- Align local execution with broader (site or global) standards and ways of working, supporting change initiatives across people and assets.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience in Maintenance, Reliability, and/or Turnarounds within an industrial environment.
- Proven people leadership and change management experience (leading teams of 5+ and driving operational change).
- Solid knowledge of reliability and problem-solving methods such as RCFA, FMEA, 5-Why, condition-based monitoring, and NDT concepts.
- Good understanding of Maintenance Excellence principles (e.g., TPM).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
