We are looking for a Senior Mechatronics Engineer (Operations Support) to support day-to-day manufacturing operations, improve equipment reliability, troubleshoot complex mechatronic systems, and deploy equipment upgrades across advanced labelling and packaging lines. This is a fully onsite operational engineering role.Key Responsibilities
- Support production by troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and automation issues.
- Provide second-line support for complex mechatronics problems.
- Deploy new products, equipment upgrades, and packaging line improvements.
- Support lifecycle management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Investigate root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
- Plan and execute maintenance and engineering activities independently.
- Prepare test protocols, technical evaluations, and assessment reports.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Automation, Validation, QA, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 7+ years of engineering experience with at least 5 years in manufacturing/operations.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, automation, and mechatronic systems.
- Experience supporting packaging equipment and automated production systems.
- Experience in GMP or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English; basic Dutch is an advantage.
- Willingness to occasionally work outside office hours.
