Job Description
For our client, we are looking for a Nordic Key Account Growth Manager to accelerate growth across the Nordic region. This role focuses on developing and executing account plans, opening new business opportunities, and strengthening relationships with key customers and partners. The Nordic Key Account Growth Manager will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, helping expand both branded and private label business while shaping an effective export model for the region.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow key retail and out-of-home accounts across the Nordic region, with strong commercial accountability
- Develop and execute account plans to drive incremental growth, profitability, and long-term partnerships
- Identify and win new business opportunities, including building compelling customer proposals and go-to-market approaches
- Lead customer negotiations and manage tender processes, including private label opportunities
- Strengthen collaboration with internal stakeholders (e.g., marketing and commercial teams) to align on priorities and trade plans
- Steer local execution through partners and external parties to ensure strong in-market delivery and campaign performance
- Monitor market dynamics, customer performance, and commercial data to support decision-making and growth planning
- Support the wider team during periods of change, with flexibility to take on additional responsibilities where needed
Requirements
- Master’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, including sales experience
- Proven background in FMCG (export experience is a plus)
- Track record of acquiring new business and growing key accounts (ability to demonstrate results is essential)
- Strong commercial, analytical, and strategic capabilities
- Confident communicator with strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, well-organized, independent, and results-oriented working style
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
- Based in the Netherlands
