About the Company
Our client is a global chemical manufacturing organization operating in a highly international environment. The company plays a critical role within the supply chain of the petrochemical industry and works closely with suppliers, logistics providers, terminals, traders, finance, and planning teams to ensure efficient material flows and business continuity. Due to organizational changes and additional support requirements, they are looking for a Customer Service Representative to strengthen their customer operations team.

Role Description
As Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end flow of purchased feedstock and by-products, ensuring seamless coordination between suppliers, customers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders. You will oversee contract execution, logistics coordination, SAP administration, inventory monitoring, invoicing activities, and customer service processes. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced international environment where accuracy and timely execution are critical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage contract execution and daily planning activities, ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled accurately.
  • Coordinate logistics activities including loading, unloading, transportation scheduling, and documentation management.
  • Monitor and manage external terminal inventory levels to ensure alignment with operational requirements.
  • Maintain accurate product movement records and transactional data within SAP.
  • Support Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, including invoicing and financial administration.
  • Investigate and resolve supplier and customer issues, complaints, and operational deviations.
  • Perform monthly closing activities, including pricing calculations, reporting, and SAP adjustments.
  • Support internal and external audits by collecting documentation and providing required evidence.

Requirements
  • Higher education qualification, preferably a University or Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Customer Service, Supply Chain Operations, Logistics Coordination, or a similar role.
  • Experience within the petrochemical, chemical, manufacturing, or industrial sector is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP.
  • Fluency in English and German is mandatory.
  • Strong administrative, data management, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in an international environment.
