Role Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Supply Planning to lead the end-to-end supply planning for a broad portfolio of dairy products. In this role, you will oversee a talented team across multiple locations, driving strategic supply chain initiatives, digital transformation projects, and stakeholder alignment to ensure optimal service, cost efficiency, and cash flow management within a complex European network.
Responsibilities:
-Manage and execute Supply and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, ensuring demand forecasts are accurately aligned with supply capabilities over various time horizons.
-Coordinate and influence stakeholders across commercial, manufacturing, finance, and supply chain teams, from site managers to senior leadership, to resolve conflicting priorities and gain buy-in for key decisions.
-Lead change management efforts, including the rollout of new systems and frameworks, such as Project Anura, and embed planning excellence across teams.
-Utilize scenario analysis and decision-support tools to assess network capacity, optimize inventory, and mitigate risks.
-Build and develop a high-performing team of over 40 professionals across multiple locations, investing in their growth and well-being.
Requirements:
-Minimum 10 years of supply chain management experience, preferably in food, beverages, or FMCG industries with complex distribution and perishable goods.
-Proven success leading S&OP processes and balancing demand with supply across multi-site networks.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence senior leaders and work effectively in a matrix environment.
-Experience in change management and digital transformation projects.
Knowledge of supply chain economics, including service-cost-cash trade-offs and inventory optimization.
-Familiarity with process improvement and food industry operations.
-Excellent English communication skills; Dutch language skills are an advantage.
-Power BI experience is a plus. The role involves travel twice a month to locations in Belgium.
