Role description
The Supply Chain Strategy Manager is responsible for developing and optimizing the future logistics and distribution network. The role translates business and commercial strategy into a customer focused and future ready supply chain approach. Working closely with commercial, customer supply chain and logistics teams, the role drives cost efficiency, service performance and transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Translate business strategy into a clear supply chain and route to market strategy
- Develop and execute logistics and distribution strategies across regions and channels
- Design and optimize logistics and distribution networks
- Evaluate alternative network and route to market scenarios
- Run simulations to assess cost, service and efficiency impact
- Improve cost to serve, service levels and overall supply chain performance
- Analyze logistics and transport data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities
- Monitor KPIs such as cost to serve and customer satisfaction
- Lead cross functional supply chain and logistics projects
- Translate strategy into actionable roadmaps and initiatives
- Support system and process transformations including ERP implementations
- Act as key supply chain strategy contact for internal stakeholders
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Requirements
- Masters degree in Supply Chain Engineering Econometrics or similar
- 5 to 8 years of experience in supply chain or logistics roles
- Strong experience in supply chain strategy and network design
- Proven project management and stakeholder management experience
- Experience with ERP systems preferably SAP S4 HANA
- Knowledge of order to cash and selling to delivery processes is a strong plus
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Fluent in English and Dutch is plus
