Role Description
We are recruiting a Supply Planning Manager to join the Planning & Delivery team for an 5-month maternity cover. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between production, supply chain, and sales/demand teams. This role requires a proactive, results-driven professional with a strong understanding of demand planning and supply chain processes, capable of guiding the team towards optimized business operations and demand accuracy.
Responsibilities
-Coordinate demand consolidation from a supply chain perspective, ensuring a smooth S&OP process aligned with market demands.
-Develop comprehensive views and scenarios for goods movement to support end-to-end supply chain optimization and S&OP decision-making.
-Integrate commercial priorities into the S&OP plan, ensuring alignment with market realities.
-Collaborate with the Innovation team to implement phased product introductions and discontinuations within the S&OP framework.
-Manage obsolete and restricted stock inventory, working with Sales to analyze and minimize financial impact.
-Liaise with the Global Demand Manager to prioritize product allocation based on demand patterns.
-Enhance demand management and sales forecasting by partnering with sales regions and customers, driving continuous improvement programs.
-Support the transition towards Integrated Business Planning, moving from volume-based to financially driven business models.
Act as the key link between sales, demand, and supply chain teams, ensuring smooth communication and process integration.
Requirements
-Relevant experience in demand planning or supply chain management preferred.
-Experience in the ingredients or dairy industry preferred.
-Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch.
-University degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
-Experience in a cross-functional or bridging role between production and sales is highly desirable.
Ability to handle operational tasks while maintaining a strategic overview.
-Proven experience with collaborative projects and process improvement initiatives.
