Job Description
We are seeking a Supply Chain & Demand Coordination Specialist to join the Demand & Goods team. In this vital role, you will act as a bridge between production, supply chain, and sales, ensuring accurate forecasting and smooth coordination across all functions. You will support demand planning, optimize product availability, and contribute to the company’s supply chain excellence during an exciting growth phase.
Responsibilities
-Manage demand consolidation from a supply chain perspective to support demand-driven sales and operations planning (S&OP).
-Develop comprehensive views and scenarios for goods movement to enable end-to-end (E2E) supply chain optimization and aid S&OP decision-making.
-Ensure that market and commercial priorities are properly integrated into the S&OP plan.
-Collaborate with the Innovation team on phase-in and phase-out planning for products, supporting seamless product transitions.
-Oversee inventory management concerning obsolete and restricted stock—report, analyze, and work with sales to minimize financial impact.
-Coordinate with the Global Demand Manager to set priorities and manage product allocations effectively.
-Improve demand management and sales forecasting processes by working closely with regional sales teams and customers.
-Drive initiatives to evolve the business from a volume-focused model to a financially driven, fully optimized IBP process.
-Support operational and process improvements, ensuring smooth communication between demand management and supply teams.
Requirements
-Significant experience in demand planning, supply chain, or a related field, with knowledge of the dairy or ingredients industry being a plus.
-Strong understanding of demand and sales forecasting processes, supply chain dynamics, and inventory management.
-Proven ability to work as a link between production, supply chain, and sales teams, with some leadership or coordination experience.
-Fluent in English and Dutch.
-A relevant master’s degree is preferred for quick onboarding and success in the role.
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a strategic mindset and operational awareness.
-Experience in chemical or ingredients industries is also relevant.
