Job Description – Summary of the Role:
They are seeking a Maintenance Engineer Facilities to support and coordinate facility-related hard services and infrastructure maintenance activities across the site. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with EHS&S and GMP quality standards while managing preventive and corrective maintenance activities for building systems, utilities, security systems, and related infrastructure. The role also involves collaboration with internal stakeholders and external service providers to maintain operational excellence and support ongoing facility improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure facility hard services are delivered in compliance with EHS&S and GMP quality standards.
• Manage and support maintenance activities for security systems including fire safety, CCTV, access control, and burglary systems.
• Coordinate civil maintenance works related to building structures, roofs, and infrastructure.
• Support maintenance and operation of utilities and systems such as elevators, automatic doors, and lifting equipment.
• Execute and track preventive and corrective maintenance activities through SAP.
• Collaborate with external service providers such as JLL regarding office-related hard services including HVAC systems.
• Monitor operational budgets and evaluate the performance of both internal teams and contracted service providers.
• Support project development and delivery teams on capital and infrastructure-related projects.
• Assist in the deployment and implementation of enterprise Facilities programs at site level.
• Develop and initiate maintenance strategies for new equipment and systems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering departments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance processes and working methods.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a Technical discipline or Facilities Management.
• 3–5 years of experience in facilities engineering, maintenance, or a related technical environment.
• Strong technical understanding of EHS&S and GMP quality standards.
• Experience working with building systems, utilities, and facility infrastructure maintenance.
• Knowledge of SAP maintenance processes is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across different disciplines and cultures.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement.
• Technical writing and documentation skills are preferred.
