Job Description
We are looking for a Absence Case Manager to guide employees and managers through the full sickness absence and reintegration process. The Registered Absence Case Manager is the central point of contact for absence-related questions and ensures that all actions are followed up carefully and in line with Dutch legislation. The role combines case ownership, stakeholder management, and practical follow-up across multiple locations.

Responsibilities
- Manage sickness absence cases from the first day of absence through reintegration, ensuring timely follow-up and clear documentation
- Act as the main contact person for employees, line managers, and site management regarding absence and reintegration
- Hold regular absence meetings and guide stakeholders through next steps and expected timelines
- Translate occupational physician input into practical actions and clear agreements
- Support applications and processes related to long-term absence and employee benefits where required
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to absence prevention and sustainable employability
- Travel to different locations as part of the role, maintaining strong alignment with local teams

Requirements
- Bachelor’s level working and thinking ability (HBO level)
- Certified and registered as an absence case manager (CROV or RCCM/RCMC)
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in absence case management and Dutch reintegration legislation
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English (spoken and written)
- Accurate, pragmatic, and well-organized working style
- Able to work independently and take ownership
- Willingness to travel between locations as needed; own transport is important
- Experience in a larger international organization is a plus
- Experience with HR/absence systems is a plus
- Temporary Full-Time Contract (6 Months)
