Role description
The Supply Chain Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the continuity and optimization of co packing operations across the Benelux region. This role combines operational execution with project leadership, focusing on process improvement, capacity assessment, governance, and supply chain efficiency.
The successful candidate will manage day to day operational priorities while leading a comprehensive review of activities, workload distribution, resource requirements, and future operating models. The role also includes oversight of SAP related administration, purchase orders, master data coordination, reporting, and documentation management.
Responsibilities
- Ensure seamless execution of supply chain and co packing activities across the Benelux region
- Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues and supply chain challenges
- Coordinate activities with Logistics, Planning, Customer Service, Marketing, Procurement, Quality, and external partners
- Manage operational priorities and support issue resolution with supply partners
- Maintain visibility of project activities, priorities, ownership, deadlines, dependencies, and risks
- Prepare and facilitate governance meetings and decision making forums
- Support BOM maintenance and purchasing related administration
- Manage purchase orders, order amendments, and system related issues
- Recommend improvements to increase efficiency, reliability, and service levels
- Implement practical improvements and develop future optimization roadmaps
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce operational inefficiencies
- Improve planning, prioritization, visibility, and standard operating procedures
- Support sustainable operating models and knowledge transfer initiatives
Requirements
- Proven experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or Project Management
- Strong experience managing cross functional projects and stakeholders
- Experience with process mapping, workload analysis, and capacity planning
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
- Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Knowledge of SAP and master data management
- Experience managing purchase orders and operational administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience within co packing, manufacturing, or packaging operations is advantageous
