Our client is a leading organisation within the pharmaceutical sector, focused on delivering high-quality products to patients through strong operational planning, compliant execution, and continuous improvement. The site in Breda plays a key role in supporting product launches and lifecycle activities across the region, working closely with a range of internal stakeholders.
Job Description
We are looking for a Supply Chain Project Manager (Product Launch & Lifecycle) to lead end-to-end planning and execution for product launches, variations, and lifecycle management activities at the site level. This role blends project management, cross-functional coordination, and operational excellence to ensure changes are delivered on time, in full compliance, and with clear visibility to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Translate launch and lifecycle strategies into clear supply chain objectives and actionable site plans for assigned product groups.
- Own and maintain the end-to-end launch project plan, coordinating inputs from regional and alliance stakeholders as required.
- Drive the change control process for launches, variations (including CMC and labelling), and lifecycle initiatives—ensuring “right first time” execution and milestone adherence.
- Facilitate project and product lifecycle team meetings, keeping actions, timelines, and decisions moving forward.
- Lead cross-functional project management meetings to support effective delivery across Quality, Regulatory, Production/Site Planning, Artwork, Warehouse, Customer Service, and Procurement.
- Deliver site readiness updates, communicate risks and dependencies early, and present performance metrics for launches and variations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline ways of working and lead improvement projects that enhance delivery, compliance, and efficiency.
- Support development of project charters and workshops when needed to align stakeholders and scope.
- Contribute to supply chain business cases and initiatives such as SKU management, rationalisation, and new packaging configuration implementation.
Requirements
- Degree-level education (or equivalent), with relevant professional experience.
- Proven project management experience, ideally in a complex, regulated environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines.
- Clear communication skills and confidence presenting updates and metrics.
- Preferred: experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
