Our client is a leading international organization in the life sciences sector, focused on delivering high-quality products to patients worldwide. The site in Breda plays a key role in supply chain execution, product readiness, and cross-functional collaboration to support launches and ongoing product lifecycle activities.
Role summary:
We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead and coordinate end-to-end supply chain execution for product launches, variations, and ongoing lifecycle activities at site level. The role combines project management, cross-functional stakeholder alignment, and operational discipline to ensure changes are implemented compliantly, on time, and with clear visibility across the organization.
Key responsibilities:
• Translate launch and lifecycle strategies into clear supply chain objectives, action plans, and timelines for assigned product groups.
• Own and maintain the end-to-end project plan, aligning inputs from regional and site stakeholders.
• Lead and manage the Change Control process to ensure launch and variation activities are delivered right first time and in line with internal procedures and guidance.
• Track milestones, manage dependencies, and drive adherence to agreed timelines; escalate risks and issues as needed.
• Facilitate Product Lifecycle Team meetings and lead project management meetings with relevant functions.
• Coordinate planning and implementation across key stakeholders including Quality, Regulatory, Production and Site Planning, Artwork, Warehouse, Customer Service, and Procurement.
• Provide status updates, reports, and metrics on launch execution, variation implementation, and site readiness.
• Identify opportunities to streamline ways of working and lead improvement initiatives, embedding best practices across stakeholders.
• Support regional leads and senior stakeholders with project charters, workshops, and structured project delivery.
Requirements:
• Degree-level education (Bachelor’s or higher) or equivalent experience.
• Proven project management experience within supply chain, operations, or a related environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional work.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
Other information:
This is a hybrid position with one mandatory on-site day per week in Breda (Tuesdays).
