Job Description
The Customer Operations & Logistics Coordinator (SAP) is responsible for coordinating daily customer and supplier operations, ensuring that product movements are executed correctly and that all related administration is accurate and on time. This position is central to managing end-to-end processes across order-to-cash (OTC) and purchase-to-pay (P2P), working closely with supply chain, planning, sourcing, and finance teams.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily planning and execution in line with commercial agreements (term and spot), and align closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- Organise loading and discharging activities and provide logistics partners with the correct instructions and documentation.
- Manage operational follow-up with external terminals, including stock checks and alignment with business requirements.
- Ensure timely, accurate handling of customer and vendor requests, enquiries, and complaints, following internal procedures.
- Record all product movements accurately in SAP, including goods receipts/issues and checks for deviations.
- Support invoice processing and align with finance/credit processes to ensure smooth transaction flow.
- Support monthly closing activities by collecting data, validating figures, and coordinating updates required for accurate reporting.
- Provide input and documentation for audits (internal and external) and ensure records are archived properly.
- Act as back-up for other desks within the team and support cross-training/desk rotation to ensure continuity.
Requirements
- Fluent in English and German (both required).
- Several years of experience in customer operations, customer service, supply chain operations, or logistics coordination.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP and confidence working with data, documentation, and process compliance.
- Able to prioritise in a high-volume environment and maintain accuracy under time pressure.
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in an international, multicultural setting.
Temporary Full-Time Contract (5 Months)
German and English Mandatory
Other Information
This is an on-site position in the Rotterdam area. The onboarding process may take longer than usual due to internal procedures, and candidates can only start once the process is fully confirmed.
