Role Description:
We are seeking a Junior Business Development Coordinator for a temporary assignment from 1 August 2026 to 31 December 2026. In this role, you will support the company’s commercial objectives by assisting with customer account management, product innovations, promotional activities, and business analysis. Your contribution will help drive growth and strengthen relationships with retail partners across various categories within the Foods portfolio.
Responsibilities:
-Manage relationships with one or multiple customers, overseeing certain categories or product segments.
-Prepare for and participate in customer meetings, visits, and negotiations.
-Assist Key Account Managers with annual deals, quarterly reviews, and commercial negotiations.
-Monitor sales figures, distribution, profitability, and achievement of targets.
-Identify commercial opportunities and risks, providing proactive advice.
-Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and other internal teams to ensure alignment on initiatives.
-Coordinate the launch of new products and innovations with internal teams and customers.
-Support assortment optimization and distribution expansion projects.
-Analyze innovation and product performance, suggesting improvements.
-Contribute to the development and evaluation of promotional plans and activities.
-Monitor promotional budgets and results, maintaining consistency in promotional strategies across clients and categories.
-Prepare sales analyses, forecasts, business reviews, and management reports.
-Translate data and insights into actionable commercial plans.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
-Passion for Sales, FMCG, and Retail.
-Prior experience in FMCG, retail, or commercial roles is a plus.
-Strong analytical, numerical, and data interpretation skills.
-Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
-Proven stakeholder management skills.
-Self-motivated, proactive, and entrepreneurial mindset.
-Team-oriented with a winning attitude.
-Fluent in Dutch and English.
-Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
