Job Description:
We are seeking a Field Service Manager – Farmer Engagement to lead and further develop a service-oriented organization supporting member dairy farmers. In this role, you will manage and coach Field Account Manager teams, strengthen farmer engagement, improve service delivery, and drive commercial and operational improvements.
You will act as a key connection point between farmers, business teams, and external stakeholders, ensuring strong relationships, effective communication, and a future-proof farmer engagement approach across markets.
Responsibilities:
• Lead, coach, and develop Field Account Manager teams across the Netherlands and Belgium.
• Support teams in transitioning towards a more commercial and service-oriented approach.
• Strengthen relationships with dairy farmers and improve member engagement and retention.
• Develop and implement service improvement initiatives and operational excellence projects.
• Identify commercial opportunities and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Drive change management initiatives and support continuous improvement.
• Connect teams, knowledge, and best practices across different regions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve processes and service delivery.
• Maintain strong understanding of agricultural developments and challenges faced by dairy farmers.
• Support the further development of the Farmer Engagement strategy.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO level) in Business, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in commercial leadership, account management, field services, or stakeholder management.
• Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing teams.
• Strong affinity with the agricultural sector, preferably dairy farming.
• Experience with customer engagement, service improvement, and change management.
• Strong commercial mindset with excellent relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
• Experience working with international or multicultural teams is an advantage.
• Knowledge of CRM and reporting tools such as Salesforce and Power BI is preferred.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
