Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Technical Operator (Automated Lines) to support highly automated manufacturing operations. In this role, you will operate, troubleshoot, and optimize automated production equipment while ensuring compliance with GMP standards. You will play a key role in maintaining production efficiency, minimizing downtime, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and delivering high-quality products in a shift-based manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and optimize automated production equipment in accordance with SOPs and GMP requirements.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize machine performance.
  • Complete accurate production documentation using SAP/MES while ensuring GMP compliance.
  • Participate in triage meetings and collaborate with Production, QA, and Maintenance & Engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Perform equipment set-up, changeovers, cleaning activities, and ensure safe shift handovers.
Key Requirements
  • Technical qualification (MBO, VAPRO B, or equivalent) with at least 3 years of experience in an automated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated production environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical or food industry.
  • Knowledge of SAP/MES systems and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, 5 Why, RCA, Kaizen, TPM, or SMED.
  • Strong technical understanding of automated equipment, including mechatronics, pneumatics, electronics, sensors, and control systems.
  • Fluent in English with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and thrive in a structured, quality-focused manufacturing environment.
