Job Description:
The Lab Technician role supports laboratory operations by performing technical tests, trial productions, and routine laboratory activities under supervision. This position plays a key role in ensuring experiments, testing, and equipment function correctly while maintaining accurate documentation and data reporting. The role requires technical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work with moderate supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Perform technical mechanical and diagnostic laboratory tests
- Prepare materials, equipment, and laboratory setups for experiments
- Support experimental design under supervision
- Execute trial productions and standard testing procedures
- Collect, analyze, and present experimental and test data
- Record all work accurately in laboratory journals and documentation
- Monitor experiments and identify deviations or abnormalities
- Perform calculations and manage automated data outputs
- Display results clearly and provide commentary when required
- Ensure proper daily operation of laboratory equipment
- Detect and report equipment malfunctions or failures
- Support ordering of supplies, inventory management, and laboratory cleanup

Requirements:
- Background in laboratory science, biotechnology, chemistry, or related field
- Experience working in medical or scientific laboratory environments
- Ability to perform standard laboratory tests and procedures
- Understanding of laboratory equipment operation and maintenance
- Strong documentation and data handling skills
- Basic knowledge of experimental design and data analysis

- Ability to work under supervision while managing assigned tasks independently
