Internal
The team is at the heart of Sanofi’s data management operations. Managing crucial master data
objects, including Global Material IDs, Material Master Data, and Contracts. Providing technical
expertise for master data systems, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting the design and
implementation of innovative master data solutions. Driving process improvements, contribute to
manufacturing and supply back-office and connected systems evolution, and ensure compliance with
best practices. Operating closely together with members Artwork CoE and other support or business
teams, together taking an important role to support External Manufacturing & Supply (EM&S) to
become a “best in class” organization.
Main responsibilities:
The specialist is responsible for master data management across systems and ensures accurate
creation & updates of materials and other SAP objects in our operating systems. Serving as a
subject matter expert supporting MDM projects and supply operations across EM&S.
Responsibilities:
• Take the lead in the Master Data Management and be accountable for the end-to-end master
data processes across systems.
• Ensure correct and timely updates of material, pricing, commercial contract conditions, bill
of material, flows and other master data in all relevant systems.
• Review and resolve all issues on pricing and contract set up with relevant stakeholders: SBS,
local market contact, Legal, Pricing team, etc.
• Enforce processes and procedures are updated regularly to ensure the provision of accurate,
complete, consistent, valid, and timely master data.
• Act as subject matter expert for MDM technical, functional and process issues. Prepare the
corresponding reports and actively review them for action with the relevant business
partners.
• Provide project support for MDM related topics (new system releases, integrations of new
businesses, new product Introductions, sites carve-out, etc.).
• Key Business User for SAP and all other relevant systems related to Master data. Provide
data extracts that can support business decisions and train business partners on the relevant
impact.
• Align with Global Master Data Management, Business, and IT on the development goals of
the Master Data Management area and related topics. Convert and propose the items into
department's goals tied to a mid-term roadmap.
About you
• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in business administration, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience pharmaceutical industry or in a comparable position within
a similar business environment (FMCG).
• Strong experience in working with SAP, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and evolving environment.
• Good analytical capabilities, able to set priorities and to navigate autonomously complex and
ambiguous environment.
• Ability to present solutions & proposals to management clearly and concisely and implement
process improvements.
• Fluent in English, knowledge of other European languages is desirable.
