Job Description
For this assignment, our client is looking for a Clinical Site Contracts & Budget Specialist to support clinical study teams with site contracting and budget activities. The role is focused on managing the full lifecycle of clinical site contracts and related agreements, supporting budget negotiations, and ensuring accurate tracking and timely execution of contracting and payment processes.

Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end process for clinical site contracts and related consulting agreements, including drafting, negotiation, amendments, and termination letters.
- Coordinate contract reviews, align with stakeholders, and escalate issues to the appropriate parties when needed.
- Negotiate site contracts and site budgets in line with internal guidelines and agreed parameters.
- Maintain accurate contract and budget tracking, status updates, and documentation in the relevant systems.
- Coordinate contract distribution, signature collection, and archiving according to required processes.
- Support clinical sites with questions related to invoice preparation and payment submission in the relevant payment system.
- Support resolution of contracting and budget-related issues throughout the study lifecycle.
- Support contracting with local vendors as required (e.g., translation or printing services).
- Maintain payment-related tracking and support audit readiness by providing required documentation.
- Support confidentiality agreement processes and related documentation workflows.
- Participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders to resolve contract or payment issues.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Relevant experience in life sciences or a medically related field.
- Proven experience with contract and/or budget negotiation in a regulated environment.
- Experience working with external parties (e.g., clinical sites or vendors).
- Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with financial and tracking processes and maintaining accurate records.
- Strong communication skills in English and Dutch.
- Good working knowledge of standard office tools (especially Excel); familiarity with SAP is a plus.
- Practical understanding of clinical research and working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
