Job Description
Our client is looking for a Procurement Project Specialist to support the execution of procurement-related programs and operational priorities within an external manufacturing environment. This role is focused on driving progress across a range of activities, including supplier coordination, contract follow-up, compliance support, and internal stakeholder alignment. The successful candidate will bring structure, ownership, and clear communication to a fast-moving and complex portfolio of work.
Responsibilities
- Drive the execution of procurement and operational projects from initiation through to completion
- Ensure activities progress through agreed milestones, approvals, and governance stages
- Coordinate contracts, documentation, approvals, and system updates
- Monitor compliance-related actions and help ensure required follow-up is completed on time
- Support commercial activities such as cost reviews, benchmarking, and supplier-related analysis
- Participate in supplier meetings and governance discussions, tracking actions and outcomes
- Help resolve operational issues such as invoice blocks, pricing mismatches, or contract gaps
- Work closely with internal teams including procurement, finance, legal, quality, and other key stakeholders
- Maintain clear reporting on progress, risks, issues, and next steps
- Help manage multiple priorities at the same time while keeping focus on high-impact topics
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s level of working and thinking
- Experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, or project execution
- Strong background in coordinating work across multiple stakeholders
- Good understanding of contracts, compliance, and supplier-facing activities
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and delivery-focused approach
- Good communication skills and confidence working across functions
- Experience with SAP and Coupa is required
- Fluent English is required
