Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Junior Cost and Asset Control Specialist to join our client's team. The role involves overseeing project cost control activities and managing fixed assets to ensure accurate financial tracking and compliance. This position offers an excellent opportunity to support key projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports for both major and minor projects, including monitoring capital expenditures and project progress.
- Support the project teams with change management, cost forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Maintain accurate records of site assets, including asset movements, disposals, and transfers, ensuring compliance with company policies and SOX regulations.
- Coordinate physical asset verifications, liaising with external parties when necessary.
- Support the internal and external audit processes related to fixed assets and capital expenditures.
- Help ensure that project costs are aligned with budgets and forecasts, updating financial systems regularly.
- Collaborate with finance, procurement, and asset management teams to streamline processes and improve asset and cost controls.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to project scope and schedule reviews.


Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong organizational and management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Effective communication skills in English; Dutch language skills are a plus.
- Proven ability to drive results and maintain attention to detail.
- Experience or background in engineering, cost control, or capital projects is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of SOX regulations and financial reporting is advantageous.
