Senior Brand Controller, Amersfoort, Utrecht

About the Role
As Brand Controller, you act as the financial co pilot for several leading consumer brands in the Dutch market. You combine strategic financial insight with a strong commercial mindset to influence decision making at senior level. The role focuses on driving brand performance, profitability, and long term value creation through close business partnering.

Responsibilities
- Full financial ownership of multiple brand P&L
- Deliver in depth financial analyses to support strategic and commercial decisions
- Partner with Marketing, Trade Marketing and Sales teams to steer brand performance
- Lead planning cycles including forecasting and long range brand strategy
- Build and evaluate business cases for innovation, CAPEX and make or buy decisions
- Improve financial reporting, transparency and monthly performance reviews
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Consumer Business and Marketing leadership teams
- Play an active role in month end closing processes

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics or similar
- Minimum of 8 years experience in business controlling, FP and A or management accounting
- Background in FMCG or a multinational commercial environment
- Proven experience partnering with marketing and sales stakeholders
- Strong commercial mindset and strategic thinking capability
- Senior stakeholder management experience at management team level
- Hands on, proactive and able to quickly take ownership
- Strong analytical and influencing skills
- Experience with SAP, PowerBI, Excel and financial reporting tools
- Familiarity with the Dutch retail and consumer landscape
