As part of the Facilities team, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and compliance of facility infrastructure, utilities, and manufacturing support systems within a highly regulated GMP environment.

Role Description
As a Facilities Engineer, you will oversee the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of building services, utilities, and facility systems. Working closely with Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, Quality, and external contractors, you will ensure equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence while supporting site improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the maintenance and operation of facility systems, utilities, and building infrastructure
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, GxP, EHS, and quality standards
  • Lead equipment reliability and preventive maintenance initiatives
  • Support facility upgrades, maintenance projects, and infrastructure improvements
  • Supervise contractors and monitor service quality, budgets, and project progress
  • Identify operational risks and implement mitigation actions
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency
  • Support CAPA implementation, change controls, and regulatory compliance activities
  • Monitor energy usage and contribute to sustainability and cost-saving initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical discipline
  • Approximately 5–7 years of experience in Facilities Engineering, Maintenance, or Technical Operations
  • Experience within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of facility utilities, maintenance systems, and infrastructure
  • Experience with preventive maintenance, contractor management, and project coordination
  • Good understanding of EHS, Quality Management Systems, and CAPA processes
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Fluent in English
