Working within the Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) department, you will support commercial manufacturing by driving process improvements, ensuring GMP compliance, and resolving technical manufacturing challenges in a highly regulated environment.

Role Description
As a Junior Process Engineer within the Manufacturing Operations & Compliance Support (MOCS) team, you will provide technical support for commercial manufacturing operations. You will lead deviation investigations, perform impact assessments, implement corrective actions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that support the reliable production of advanced cell therapy products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support commercial manufacturing through technical investigations and process improvements
  • Perform impact assessments to support product release activities
  • Lead deviation investigations using structured Root Cause Analysis methodologies
  • Develop, implement, and monitor CAPAs to prevent recurrence
  • Prepare and revise SOPs, batch records, and manufacturing documentation
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and MSAT teams to resolve technical issues
  • Support change controls and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP and internal quality standards

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related discipline (Engineering degree is a strong advantage)
  • Experience within biotechnology, cell therapy, cell culture, aseptic processing, or pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations and manufacturing compliance
  • Experience leading deviation investigations, Root Cause Analysis, CAPAs, and change controls
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing manufacturing environment
  • Fluent in English
