The client is a global food company famous for confectionery but also pet food. 

Role Description
The Ocean Visibility Platform Lead is responsible for driving the performance, adoption, and continuous improvement of a global SaaS-based visibility solution that connects over 80 markets, 35 manufacturing sites, and more than 300 users worldwide. Reporting to the Global Ocean Control Tower Lead, this role plays a critical part in transitioning the platform from its post-go-live hypercare phase into a stable Business-as-Usual (BAU) operating model while maximizing business value. This is a predominantly hands-on operational role, focused on the day-to-day management of the platform, including data quality oversight, operational governance, and vendor management (Cargoo). In parallel, the role requires active engagement with global stakeholders, supporting user adoption and ensuring effective communication across logistics teams and leadership forums.

Responsibilities

  • Acting as the business product owner, accountable for platform performance, data integrity, and user support.
  • Leading the transition from hypercare to a sustainable BAU operating model.
  • Overseeing end-to-end data quality, ensuring accurate data flows from ERP systems and external partners.
  • Establishing and enforcing data standards, resolving data issues, and drive corrective actions with stakeholders.
  • Designing and implementing governance frameworks, including operating cadence, RACI structures, and escalation protocols.
  • Managing the day-to-day relationship with the SaaS provider, acting as the primary business contact.
  • Defining and monitoring SLAs and KPIs to ensure service performance and data accuracy.
  • Leading periodic and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to assess performance and align on future priorities.
  • Collaborating on system enhancements and ensuring successful rollout and adoption of new features.
  • Defining and monitoring key value metrics such as visibility coverage, data quality, user adoption, and operational impact.
  • Delivering presentations and leading global townhalls for stakeholders, including Logistics Managers and Supply Chain leaders.
  • Representing the platform in leadership forums as needed.
  • Executing a global user adoption strategy across a diverse and geographically distributed user base.
  • Establishing a network of super-users and regional champions to embed the platform into daily operations.
  • Developing and delivering targeted training programs tailored to different markets and user groups.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, or transportation roles; experience with TMS or SaaS logistics platforms is advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience managing or operating a SaaS platform, including data quality management, user support, and vendor coordination.
  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks, KPIs, and operating models.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage global audiences and senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in change management and driving user adoption across large, international organizations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a structured and independent working style.
