Role Description:
As a QA Officer, you will become part of an enthusiastic quality team consisting of four colleagues. In this senior-level role, you will act as the right hand of the QA Manager and play a key role in safeguarding, monitoring, and continuously improving quality standards across our production sites in Venlo and Belfeld.
You will be responsible for overseeing finished products, incoming raw materials, and production processes while ensuring that quality and food safety remain top priorities throughout the organization. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to take ownership in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update quality processes and the quality handbook together with the QE Manager
• Follow up on internal and external complaints related to production and quality
• Manage product holds and resolve quality-related process issues
• Perform process inspections and product quality checks
• Organize and conduct internal audits and hygiene inspections
• Prepare, review, and maintain product sheets and specifications
• Follow up on tasks according to the annual Quality & Environment planning
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to food safety and quality standards
• Act as a key point of contact between departments to ensure quality awareness throughout the organization
• Guide and support production employees by setting the right example regarding food safety and quality procedures
Requirements:
• Minimum MBO working and thinking level, preferably with a completed degree in Food Technology
• Experience in a similar QA role, preferably within the food industry
• Strong understanding of food safety and quality assurance processes
• Proactive and hands-on mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken

• Direct reporting line to the QE Manager
