An international FMCG organization is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to support the integration of two new factories in the United States. The focus of this project is on stabilizing and optimizing order-to-cash and stock management processes during a critical go-live and post go-live phase. You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where operational execution and continuous improvement go hand in hand.
Role Description
As Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting daily supply chain operations during and after the integration go-live phase. You will help ensure continuity across order fulfilment, warehousing, transportation, and stock management processes while identifying and resolving operational deviations. This position requires a hands-on professional who can quickly adapt to new systems and processes, while also driving improvements across the end-to-end supply chain flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Support order fulfilment, warehousing, and transportation processes during and after go-live
- Participate actively in daily operational activities including orders, deliveries, and invoicing
- Ensure continuity and stability of operational processes
- Quickly understand and adapt to new supply chain processes and systems
- Identify, analyze, and resolve process deviations and operational issues
- Optimize end-to-end supply chain processes with a focus on order-to-cash and stock management
- Support process improvements and stabilization activities post go-live
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across operations and supply chain teams
- Balance operational execution with analytical improvement initiatives
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain, preferably in similar integration or implementation-focused roles
- Strong knowledge of order-to-cash, warehousing, transportation, and stock management processes
- Hands-on experience with SAP and reporting tools
- Experience supporting go-lives, implementations, or integration projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes quickly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic operational environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, independent, and results-driven mindset
- Ability to switch between operational tasks and process improvement activities
- English is mandatory; Dutch is considered a strong plus
