Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Bioprocess Technician to join their dynamic team in the Bioreactor Facility at the Boxmeer site. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting large-scale biotechnological production processes for animal vaccines, ensuring smooth operation, compliance, and continuous improvement within a high-tech environment.
Responsibilities:

Prepare production cultures and media meticulously for each production cycle

Independently execute complex production tasks, including cell and virus culture management, fermenter control, centrifugation, filtration, and vessel handling

Document all production activities precisely, ensuring batch records are complete and accurate

Follow strict GMP and EHS guidelines and observe all safety and quality regulations

Identify, report, and document deviations or issues in the production process

Contribute to process improvement initiatives and participate in project teams

Support deviation management through thorough documentation of any process variations

Lead or participate in troubleshooting and technical tasks related to process control systems and mechanical aspects such as valves and fittings

Requirements:

MBO level 3 or 4 in Biotechnology, Process Technology, or a related field

Previous experience in bioprocessing, ideally within animal health or pharmaceutical manufacturing (entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply)
