Role Description
As a Co-Packing Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting and stabilising ongoing co-packing activities across the Benelux region. You will act as the primary operational contact for day-to-day activities, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure operational issues are effectively resolved. You will also review existing co-packing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support initiatives to enhance efficiency, capacity, service levels, and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Maintain smooth daily co-packing operations across the Benelux region and act as the primary operational contact for urgent issues.
- Coordinate with Logistics, Planning, Customer Service, Marketing, Procurement, Quality, and external co-packing partners to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
- Manage and close open operational topics with co-packing partners, ensuring requests, priorities, deadlines, and dependencies are properly tracked.
- Prepare and facilitate governance meetings, providing clear visibility of operational requests, actions, timelines, and progress.
- Maintain co-packing documentation and system records, including instruction cards, specifications, sign-offs, price lists, and supplier information.
- Manage SAP master data, including BOMs, purchase orders, and sourcing information, and escalate issues where required.
- Create a detailed overview of current co-packing activities, assessing effort, timing, complexity, workload, and capacity.
- Identify quick wins and structural improvement opportunities to accelerate processes, reduce costs, improve service levels, and support sustainability objectives.
- Document improvement initiatives and develop a roadmap for future enhancements and the transfer of administrative responsibilities.
Requirement
- Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, co-packing, or operational project management.
- Strong analytical and process-mapping skills, with the ability to assess workload, capacity, timing, and operational complexity.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills across internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to challenge existing processes and translate analysis into practical recommendations and improvements.
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives, process optimisation, or organisational assessments.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft 365, including purchase orders, master data, reporting, and documentation.
- Knowledge of co-packing operations or excise processes is advantageous.
