Job Description
For our client, we are looking for a Supply Chain Operations Manager to ensure reliable, compliant supply while managing logistics partners and improving end-to-end cold chain distribution solutions. The role focuses on service performance, supplier management, continuous improvement, and cross-functional project work across the region.
Responsibilities
Ensure supply continuity, service level performance, and cost control in a GDP-compliant environment.
Develop, select, and implement cold chain distribution solutions within the regional supply chain.
Lead regular performance and business reviews with logistics and supply chain partners, covering escalations, reporting, and improvement actions.
Maintain strong relationships with third-party partners and support internal stakeholders when issues need to be escalated.
Manage and maintain agreements with supply chain partners, including driving improvements in quality, performance, and compliance.
Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives, including savings and operational efficiency opportunities.
Monitor emerging trends and legislative changes that could impact distribution solutions or cold chain practices, and assess implications proactively.
Build strong internal stakeholder networks (affiliates and corporate functions) and contribute to regional projects and key initiatives.
Plan, build, and manage distribution lanes for the region to support strategic priorities.
Requirements
Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain / Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Change Management, or similar.
Strong experience in logistics and supplier/partner management (including process improvement).
Solid knowledge of supply chain, cold chain, and warehousing.
Proven project management experience across departments and geographies.
Strong analytical skills (including Excel) with the ability to turn data into clear insights.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Self-starter who can work independently, handle pressure, and collaborate effectively.
Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
Preferred: knowledge of GMP/GDP, Operational Excellence tools (e.g., Six Sigma, FMEA), and experience with SAP/BW and service level agreements.
