Job Description
For this organisation, we are looking for a Supply Chain Finance Controller (CAPEX) to strengthen the finance team supporting factory investments and operational projects. The CAPEX Finance Controller (Supply Chain / Manufacturing) will focus on financial control, reporting, and month-end activities, while also helping improve processes and decision-making through data and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Manage financial controlling activities, including planning, reporting, and supporting month-end close.
- Provide clear financial insights on CAPEX projects, including tracking budgets, progress, and deviations.
- Support cash visibility and budget management through detailed analysis and structured reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by helping design and implement improved processes and ways of working.
- Lead or support cross-functional project work (e.g., setting roles and responsibilities using RACI, aligning stakeholders, and following up on actions).
- Act as a key user for CAPEX financial accounting topics, including depreciation and asset valuation activities.
- Support indirect purchasing processes and financial follow-up where applicable.
- Ensure internal control requirements are followed and coordinate the internal control cycle.
- Challenge assumptions, highlight risks or deviations early, and drive corrective actions with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Finance (or similar).
- Strong experience in accounting, controlling, and reporting in a complex organisation.
- Demonstrable CAPEX finance experience (investment / fixed assets focus).
- Strong Excel skills.
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating across functions in a matrix environment.
- Professional English is required (Dutch is a plus).
- Experience with ERP and reporting tools is preferred (e.g., SAP/BW, BI tools, consolidation/reporting systems).
- Temporary Full-Time (7 Months) Contract
Other Information
The Supply Chain Finance Controller (CAPEX) will work closely with stakeholders across finance and operations and will contribute to both day-to-day control and longer-term improvements.
