Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Innovation Program Manager to lead large-scale, cross-functional innovation initiatives within the organization’s Innovation Engineering team. This role involves driving the development and deployment of AI-enabled medical devices, digital health applications, and consumer health innovations from concept to market launch, ensuring alignment across multiple business units and technical domains.
Responsibilities
-Lead strategic, complex innovation programs that span multiple businesses, ensuring successful end-to-end delivery of new platforms, systems, and AI-powered products.
-Translate customer, clinical, and consumer needs into project scope, architectural decisions, and value creation models.
-Manage the full innovation lifecycle, including concept development, validation, verification, regulatory compliance, industrialization, and product launch updates.
-Oversee program scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk, ensuring compliance with relevant quality management systems and medical regulations (FDA, MDR, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304).
-Drive collaboration across R&D, Data Science/AI, Design, Supply Chain, Industrialization, Service, and Regulatory teams to ensure seamless program execution.
-Integrate AI/ML capabilities into products and program workflows, applying system engineering principles across hardware, embedded software, cloud services, and medical systems.
-Build strong external partnerships with industry leaders, OEM/ODM suppliers, academic institutions, and clinical collaborators.
-Analyze industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to inform strategic decision-making.
-Lead multidisciplinary teams across various locations, fostering a high-performance culture in complex environments.
-Contribute to process improvements, tooling, and capability development within the organization.
Requirements
-Master’s degree or higher in engineering, technology, biomedical engineering, computer science, or related fields.
-Over 10 years of experience managing complex, multi-site innovation or product development projects, particularly in healthcare technology.
-Proven track record of successfully bringing medical devices, digital/AI solutions, or consumer health products from concept to market.
-Experience with AI/ML-driven products and integrating AI tools in project management.
-Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence across diverse teams and stakeholders.
-Certification in project management (PMP, SAFe, IPMA, or similar) is preferred.
