Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Senior Innovation Program Manager to lead and coordinate complex, cross-functional innovation initiatives within the company. The successful candidate will drive the development and introduction of AI-enabled medical devices, digital health platforms, and consumer health products from concept through to launch, ensuring strategic alignment across various business units and technical domains.
Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale, multi-business innovation programs, managing end-to-end delivery of new platforms, systems, and AI-driven products.
- Translate customer, clinical, and user needs into project scope, architecture, and value creation strategies.
- Oversee the entire innovation lifecycle, including concept development, validation, regulatory preparation, manufacturing, and deployment.
- Ensure solutions maximize reusability, platform thinking, and enterprise value across multiple business units.
- Manage program scope, budget, timeline, quality, and risk mitigation, maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations (FDA, MDR, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304).
- Drive collaboration among R&D, data science, design, supply chain, manufacturing, service, regulatory, and commercial teams.
- Integrate AI and machine learning capabilities into products and project management workflows.
- Apply system engineering principles across hardware, embedded software, cloud services, and medical systems.
- Foster external partnerships with suppliers, academic institutions, and clinical collaborators to stay at the forefront of technological advancements.
- Lead diverse, multi-disciplinary teams across geographies, promoting a high-performance culture and continuous improvement.
- Represent the organization externally at industry forums and maintain a keen understanding of market trends and emerging innovations.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, biomedical engineering, or related fields.
- At least 10 years of experience managing complex, multi-site innovation or product development programs, especially in medical, digital, or consumer health sectors.
- Proven success in taking medical devices or digital health solutions from concept to market.
- Experience with AI/ML-enabled products or utilizing AI tools within project management environments.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
- Certification in project/program management (e.g., PMP, IPMA, SAFe) is preferred.
