Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Production Shift Manager to lead teams within a 5-shift production environment. In this role, you will oversee daily production operations, ensure smooth and safe manufacturing processes, and act as a key link between different departments within the facility. You will play an important role in driving operational performance, employee engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team within a 5-shift production environment;
• Ensure safety, quality, and continuity of production processes;
• Oversee the full production flow, from raw material intake to finished products;
• Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
• Motivate, coach, and develop employees while encouraging ownership and accountability;
• Support employees during process improvements and organizational changes;
• Create and implement annual team plans and operational objectives;
• Promote and maintain a culture of continuous improvement;
• Monitor production performance and maintain operational efficiency;
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.


Requirements:
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in a production or manufacturing environment;
• Proven leadership and people management experience;
• Experience working within a shift-based production environment, preferably 5-shifts;
• Background in supply chain, manufacturing, or food production is preferred;
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality, hygiene, and safety standards;
• Affinity with technical operations and manufacturing environments;
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Ability to coach, motivate, and develop teams;
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills;
• ICT/system knowledge is required;
• Dutch language is mandatory; English is a plus.


Other Information:
• Temp-to-permanent opportunity;
• Initial contract duration: 9 months + 3 months extension;
• Full-time role (38 hours per week);
• On-site position only (no hybrid work);
• Not open to freelancers/ZZP;


Shift Rotation Schedule:
• 2 days: 06:00 – 14:00
• 2 days: 14:00 – 22:00
• 2 days: 22:00 – 06:00
• Followed by 4 days off
