Role Description
As Product Industrialization Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful industrialization and introduction of new products within a high-tech manufacturing environment. You will work in multidisciplinary project teams and act as the link between product development and manufacturing, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition from design to production. This role requires a technically strong and proactive engineer with experience in process development, validation, automated equipment, and manufacturing optimization within complex production environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and ensure manufacturability of new products and processes.
  • Design and optimize production processes, assembly flows, and testing solutions for manufacturing environments.
  • Perform technical risk assessments using methodologies such as pFMEA and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Define manufacturing, equipment, and process requirements based on product specifications and factory standards.
  • Coordinate development, sourcing, installation, and implementation of production equipment and tooling.
  • Support process and equipment validation activities including IQ, OQ, PQ, and Process Performance Qualification runs.
  • Manage manufacturing master data including BOMs and routing information during product lifecycle changes.
  • Support ramp-up activities and provide technical support until handover to operational production teams.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, suppliers, manufacturing, and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Drive PDLM-related design and manufacturing changes within factories and supplier environments.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar engineering or industrialization role.
  • Experience with automated test equipment development and manufacturing transfer projects.
  • Knowledge of process validation methodologies including pFMEA, IQ, OQ, PQ, SPC, and DfMAT.
  • Experience with software design and programming for industrial automated systems is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and able to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience within regulated or high-tech manufacturing environments is a strong advantage.
