Role Description
As a Global Sales Excellence Manager, you will play a key strategic role in shaping and embedding global sales excellence standards across international markets and business groups. You will act as the global subject matter expert for commercial execution, defining best practices in areas such as account management, value-based selling, joint business planning, and channel development. Working closely with senior commercial leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, you will translate commercial strategies into scalable frameworks, capability programs, and practical ways of working that elevate sales performance globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and continuously improve global sales excellence standards and commercial frameworks.
  • Develop and implement best practices for account management, joint business planning, value-based selling, and channel development.
  • Translate commercial strategy into practical tools, frameworks, and capability programs.
  • Act as strategic sparring partner for senior commercial stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Drive global sales capability initiatives and support behavioral change through learning programs.
  • Build and maintain a global sales excellence community across regions and business groups.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and adoption of commercial best practices across international markets.
  • Lead and support cross-functional commercial improvement and transformation projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across B2B, B2C, eCommerce, and modern trade environments.
  • Support the continuous improvement of commercial execution and sales maturity globally.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of commercial experience within FMCG, food, or related industries.
  • Proven experience in sales leadership, key account management, commercial excellence, or strategic partnerships.
  • Strong background in international account management, value-based selling, negotiation, and joint business planning.
  • Experience working across multiple commercial channels including modern trade, general trade, and eCommerce.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively within complex international matrix organizations.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities combined with a hands-on mindset.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
  • Passion for capability building, coaching, and commercial development.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are considered a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required.
  • Available for a hybrid working setup (2 office / 3 home) and 32-38 hours per week.
