Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. This senior-level role involves supporting the QA Manager in safeguarding product quality and ensuring compliance throughout our production facilities.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and update quality processes and the quality handbook in collaboration with the Quality & Environment Manager.
- Handle internal and external complaints related to production.
- Manage product holds and address quality issues within the production process.
- Conduct process and product inspections to ensure standards are met.
- Organize and assist with internal audits and hygiene inspections.
- Prepare and review product sheets, specifications, and documentation.
- Track and report on tasks outlined in the annual Quality & Environment plan.
- Act as a key link between departments to promote a strong culture of food safety and quality awareness.
- Lead by example, encouraging production staff to prioritize quality and safety.

Requirements
- Minimum MBO level, preferably with a degree in Food Technology or related field.
- Experience in a similar QA role within the food industry.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative and resolve problems independently.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Good knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Demonstrates leadership qualities suitable for a senior position acting as a trusted aide to the QA Manager.
