Role Description
This role supports research and development activities through hands on laboratory work, data analysis, and technical reporting. The position contributes to improving existing products, developing new analytical methods, and supporting innovation projects. It is ideal for a bench oriented scientist who enjoys working in a fast paced, regulated environment.

Responsibilities
- Perform experimental laboratory work and analyze data for research and development projects
- Improve existing products and manufacturing processes
- Develop and validate analytical methods for current and new products
- Support development of new products and production processes
- Assist with installation, qualification, and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Plan and execute experimental work in collaboration with team members
- Manage laboratory operations including stock management and purchasing
- Prepare purchase orders for consumables, chemicals, and equipment
- Conduct incoming inspections and maintain laboratory organization
- Support non conformance investigations, CAPA, deviations, and audits


Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field
- Laboratory experience within medical device or pharmaceutical environments
- Practical experience with analytical techniques such as NMR, SEC, KF, FT IR, GC, and microscopy
- Experience with sample preparation, data analysis, and result interpretation
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Experience with analytical method development and validation preferred
- Knowledge of polymer chemistry preferred
- Ability to perform multistep organic synthesis preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality compliance
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and laboratory software

- On site role with forty hours per week
