Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Quality Control Laboratory Team Lead to oversee daily laboratory operations at a production site. This role is ideal for someone who combines hands-on laboratory knowledge with the ability to guide and support a team.


The successful candidate will lead a group of analysts working across microbiology and sample logistics, ensuring that daily activities run smoothly and that quality and safety standards are consistently maintained. This person will also act as a key point of contact for the laboratory within the wider organisation and contribute to improvement initiatives across the site.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of laboratory professionals across microbiology and sample logistics
- Ensure daily laboratory activities are organised effectively and completed in line with quality and regulatory standards
- Monitor workflow and respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced production environment
- Work closely with internal stakeholders such as production, quality assurance, and technical teams
- Help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-structured laboratory operation
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects and wider quality control objectives
- Act as a key contact person for laboratory-related topics within the site
- Support a positive team environment and adapt leadership style to suit different team needs

Requirements:
- Higher professional education level or equivalent working and thinking level
- Experience in a laboratory environment
- Experience leading, guiding, or coordinating a team
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English
- Able to work effectively in a dynamic production environment
- Experience with quality systems such as ISO 17025 is an advantage
- Audit experience is a plus
