Role Description
As Category Analyst for the Benelux market, you act as the analytical copilot for market, category, and competitive performance. The role supports senior leadership by delivering actionable insights that guide growth decisions and strategic priorities. You go beyond standard reporting by translating data into clear business actions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver in depth business analysis including period performance reports and monthly market summaries
- Perform root cause analysis on performance issues and growth opportunities
- Present insights and recommendations in S and OP and Management Team meetings
- Drive business discussions to translate insights into concrete actions
- Manage local market data and maintain relationships with Nielsen GFK and IRI
- Own local database updates including new products from own brands and competitors
- Deliver category foresights, trends, and shopper insights through research and analysis
- Support category vision and future market share development
Requirements
- Master degree in Business Management Marketing or related field
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations
- Minimum 3 years experience in business analysis consumer or shopper insights or market research
- Strong Nielsen knowledge and advanced Excel skills
- Experience with YouGov shopper data is a strong advantage
- Comfortable presenting to senior management and cross functional teams
Other Information
- Hybrid working model with one to two office days per week
- Preferred office days are Monday and Thursday
- High exposure role with frequent interaction with senior leadership
